The Kindle needs to be recognized in order to transfer and manage all the files. If the device is not recognized, access the Devices Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc). Right click the device and choose Windows Update. Follow the instructions presented on the screen to properly recognize the device.
Once the device has been recognized, start the Kindlean and choose the corresponding device.
Additionally, install Calibre which provides additional tools than Kindlean does.
I tried to use Kindlean with my Kindle touch, but the program informs me to disconnect it and restart it. I did it, but I do not know how to do the remaining instructions, such as: D) exit, then R).... diagnostic mode ì, etc. How can I use the diagnostic mode?. I use Windows 8 on my laptop.

If you still have the application, contact the developers using the following email [email protected]. The developers don't offer any information anymore because Kindlean was acquired by Amazon. Secondly, simply use the instructions posted within the software, meaning that once you click the device, the process to enter diagnostic mode should be pretty straight forward. You can still download the application through the download page at Software Informer.
I receive a "Permission denied" error message when I'm trying to delete an eBook. Can you help?

In order to solve the issue, click the gear Click to view icon and then press Clear Cache. Try again to delete the eBook and if it doesn't work, download and install Alfa Ebooks manager. It replaced Kindlean after the application has been discontinued and you can download it freely. If it doesn't work, use the contact form from the official web page to get in touch with the Support Team.
